About Me

Hello Boulder County Democratic Party Central Committee!

I'm Ben Cowan, and I'm running for Chair of the Boulder County Democratic Party, with an overriding goal: To maximize the impact of every moment of time our volunteers are willing to give us.

Our volunteers are the most valuable resource BCDP has, by far. I've come to realize this through many years of volunteering with BCDP, beginning with the 2008 campaign, and as a Precinct Organizer and volunteer ever since.

I stepped up my involvement in 2022, joining the Bylaws Team, and I became a Leader of that team the next year. In that role, I've gotten to know in detail the work of teams across the party, and worked with some of our most dedicated volunteers.
